Canines for Compassion Walk-A-Thon

On September 22, 2018 Rose Cottage Community Hospice is bringing back our annual “Canines for Compassion Walk-A-Thon”. The last time we held this event it was a great success thanks to the generosity of our participants, their donors and our generous sponsors. For over 30 years Rose Cottage Visiting Volunteers has been supporting families dealing with life-limiting or palliative care needs in West Niagara by offering Caregiver support, Bereavement groups, a Legacy program and our Drop-in Day program.
There is no minimum pledge amount; participants simply show up with their pooches (or on their own) and walk either one or two kilometres in support of the agency. All of the proceeds will be donated to Rose Cottage to help us, help others in the West Niagara community.
Route starts at : Lincoln Plaza 5205 King St. (Temple of the Dog) to the Fleming Centre. (1km) Where there will be vendors on site in support of our event. If you wish to do 2km, turn around & come on back.

There are prizes for the top fundraisers, awarded at te event. Free Tote Bag for the first 100 registrants.
