Our first “BA5” of 2019 was a great success, with many folks braving the forecasted freezing rain to join us at the Elizabeth Street Pumphouse. We had some delicious refreshments, delivered by member 50 Point Market, and everyone took full advantage of the opportunity to network, make new contacts, and start productive conversations with fellow attendees. We welcomed a number of guests and new members, which made for an interesting and exciting evening for all. The highlight of the BA5 was certainly the presentation from Rom DiEgidio, the Staff Sergeant from the Niagara Regional Police Service’s local 8 District. Rom gave an engaging talk, including highlights and anecdotes from his history with the NRP, insights on the challenges and rewards of working in local law enforcement, and teasers on some of the initiatives coming down the pipeline. All in all, an enjoyable, informative, connected evening for all! Thanks to members, new members, and guests for joining us!
Special thanks to member Village Studio for capturing some moments from the evening for us!
A very warm welcome to the new members in attendance: Foster Controls, GoodLife Fitness, Grimsby Toastmasters, NEORA, and Robbinex.
