The Farmers’ Market of Grimsby, (previously Grimsby Farmers’ market) was established in 2008 and spent their first two years at the St. Georges Ukrainian Church on Adelaide Street. The market quickly outgrew the parking lot and in the spring of 2010 the DIA suggested that the market move to Main Street between Christie and Ontario Streets.  Now in it’s 17th year, the market will once again set up on Thursday afternoons. The market runs from May 30 until October 10 for the 2024 season, and operates from 3:00 until 7:00pm.  The road is closed to vehicular traffic from 1:30 for vendor setup and reopens at 8:00. We are expecting more than 35 local farms and food based vendors as well as some temporary vendors with non-food, non-farm based articles to sell. We look forward to seeing you….’on the street’.
