Board of Directors Nomination Form: 2025-2026 Term

Make a difference in your Chamber! Consider joining the Board of Directors for the 2025-2026 term.

Our Annual General Meeting reporting on the 2024 financial year will take place virtually on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

Nomination form is below. Please note the following important dates:

  • February 27: Nominations close
  • February 28: Candidates moving to the interview stage will be individually contacted to set up a time to meet via Zoom with the Chamber Nominating Committee
  • March 4, 5, 6: Candidate Interviews (Zoom)
  • March 7: Successful candidates will be notified
  • March 18: AGM
  • March 20, 2 PM: in-person board orientation
  • March 20, 4:30 PM: in-person board meeting

Number of two-year positions: 6

While all candidates will be equally considered, the Grimsby Chamber is particularly seeking candidates representing the following sectors and/or skillsets:

  • Finance
  • Franchisee
  • Governance/Advocacy/Policy
  • Grimsby On The Lake businesses
  • Hospitality
  • Legal
  • Marketing
  • Real Estate

    In accordance with the Grimsby & District Chamber of Commerce By-Laws, the Chamber is calling for nominations to the Board of Directors.Nominations may be submitted by any voting member in good standing. Members may nominate more than one member, and/or self-nominate.

    There are SIX (6) two-year term position available. Nominations will not be accepted from the floor at the AGM, and must be submitted by 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

    Please note that only full members in good standing can nominate, be nominated, and vote at the AGM. If you are an associate member with the Grimsby Chamber, you are still encouraged to participate by joining us at the AGM, or joining a Grimsby Chamber committee.
