Geoff was born and raised in the West Niagara area, and is active with Grimsby Rotary at Noon, as well as a coach with the West Lincoln Minor Hockey Association, and other community groups. Geoff joined the Grimsby Chamber board in 2018 and is an active member of several committees.

Marshall came to Grimsby in 1986 and has been an enthusiastic supporter and cheerleader for all things Grimsby ever since. Marshall also has more than 32 years’ experience in real estate as a salesperson and broker. In addition to being a very proud member of The Rotary Club of Grimsby, Marshall has also been an active Chamber board member since 2011.

As an instrumentation and information technology technician, Louise works with clientele ranging from residential, to small business, to large industry. She worked as part of family business for over 20 years, and has won the Business 40 Under 40 Award. Louise was the Treasurer of the Grimsby DIA from 2014-2018. On days off, you can find her on the golf course or spending time with one of her rescue dogs.

Lesley, a recent newcomer to Grimsby, is a project manager by trade and entrepreneur at heart. She has over 10 years of project management experience with municipalities and non-profit organizations. Two years ago, she and her husband moved to Grimsby, which immediately stood out as the perfect place to raise their small family, and to realize their dream of owning their own business. In 2018, they combined their strengths to start LD Marketing , and just this year joined forces with Perceptible Inc.

Hammered Ink Corp.

Kerry, a long-time entrepreneur, started her first business with a fellow student while in College. After learning the ins and outs of a partnership, she ventured off on her own and started Greyzone Marketing, a freelance marketing firm. Kerry is now the Co-President of Hammered Ink Corp., a promotional and branding company new to Grimsby as of December 2017. Her passion for Grimsby has brought her back to this town to raise her family and run her company.

John Dunstall

JJ’s on the Docks Eatery

John has lived and worked in the Grimsby community since 2004. He is the former General Manager of the Fifth Wheel Truck Stop and with that experience opened JJ’s On The Docks Eatery. The restaurant is located at Foran’s Marine and is open year-round. John is a past President of the Grimsby & District Chamber of Commerce and is currently a Ward 3 Councillor.

Community Care of West Niagara

Carole and her family live in and are active supporters of Grimsby and its local business community. Carole is a representative of the Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee (JAAC) on behalf of the Town of Grimsby. JAAC promotes and facilitates a barrier-free municipality for citizens of all abilities (universal accessibility), including persons with disabilities.

50 Point Market

Joe is the president and co-owner of 50 Point Market, a family-owned store specializing in high quality, local, and fresh ingredients. In addition to serving on the Grimsby Chamber of Commerce board of directors, Joe has been a Rotarian since 1998 and has held high level corporate sponsorship and partnership positions with Tennis Canada/Rogers Cup and Ottawa Senators Hockey Club.

Karen Remers

Simply Moto

Karen is a marketing industry professional, and has worked with several high-profile firms, creating print and digital marketing campaigns. Her experience and passion for online advertising is what led her to open her own business in the town she lives in.

Karen, with husband James, opened Simply Moto in 2018 offering motorcycle and dirt bike riders and enthusiasts a place to purchase gear, apparel, parts, and acessories – right in downtown Grimsby.

Silmaril Farms

Michelle has been an active member of the Grimsby community for many years, having served on Town Council and various Town committees, and working with Grimsby Farmers Market to organize the annual May-to-October weekly event.

Michelle and husband Rick Stopps currently own and operate Silmaril Farm –  a small, family-run PYO apple orchard and farm.

Rebecca Shelley

Executive Director

Rebecca provides the Chamber with excellent management of membership programs and events.

She brings 20 years of professional experience to her role with the Grimsby & District Chamber of Commerce, most recently from Bell Media. Rebecca has many years of office management, administrative, organizational and coordination experience. Her background embraces small- and medium-sized businesses, including a wine agency, a media company, and an IT security firm run by former Dragon Robert Herjavec.
