The Executives

Sean Reid


Arrowhead Coaching

Sean is a small business owner and certified professional coach, specializing in leadership coaching and advisory services for construction, technology, and not-for-profit executives.

Over the course of his career, Sean has accumulated two and a half decades of experience leading, growing, and advising high-performance organizations. He has counseled executives and industry leaders on corporate strategy, team performance, meetings and communication, and operational execution.

Prior to the 2019 launch of his own company, Sean spent ten years leading the Ontario division of a national construction association. Earlier in his career, Sean served as a marketing and corporate communications leader with one of Canada’s largest software companies, and as a communications advisor to a senior Federal cabinet minister.

Sean lives in Grimsby with his wife and their two daughters and serves as a Deacon in his local church.

Stephen Silver


Steve began his real estate career in Edmonton, Alberta in 2001. He worked as an Associate Broker until 2008 when he opened his own brokerage.

Since moving back to Toronto in 2010, he has held a number of management and director positions at high-profile brokerages, including Director of Training and Agent Development at RE/MAX Garden City Realty Inc here in Niagara. As a Manager and Coach, Steve has designed and overseen the training, development, and coaching of the sales personnel at each brokerage.

The author of several real estate publications, Steve is also the President and CEO of SilverStone Real Estate Seminars, a company devoted to sales training for REALTORS.

Genevieve Groat


Padgett Business Services

In 2018,  Genevieve relocated from Alberta to Ontario with her husband and three sons. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer working alongside her husband Nathan Groat, running Padgett Business Services Grimsby.

Genevieve is a Seasoned Executive and Project Manager with 12+ years of experience managing multi-million-dollar IT business transformation programs, coordinating with workforce teams of 70+. Project Management Professional, Change Management, and Business Analysis certifications. She is passionate about the community and can not wait to grow old here.

Carole Fuhrer

Past Chair & Secretary

Community Care of West Niagara

Carole and her family live in and are active supporters of Grimsby and its local business community. Carole is a representative of the Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee (JAAC) on behalf of the Town of Grimsby. JAAC promotes and facilitates a barrier-free municipality for citizens of all abilities (universal accessibility), including persons with disabilities.

Marshall Deeth

Board Member

Rotary Club of Grimsby

Marshall came to Grimsby in 1986 and has been an enthusiastic supporter and cheerleader for all things Grimsby ever since. Marshall also has more than 32 years of experience in real estate as a salesperson and broker. In addition to being a very proud member of The Rotary Club of Grimsby, Marshall has also been an active Chamber board member since 2011.

John Dunstall

JJ’s On The Docks Eatery

John has lived and worked in the Grimsby community since 2004. He is the former General Manager of the Fifth Wheel Truck Stop and with that experience opened JJ’s On The Docks Eatery. The restaurant is located at Foran’s Marine and is open year-round. John is a past President of the Grimsby & District Chamber of Commerce and is currently a Ward 3 Councillor.

Alex Heidbuechel

BLVD Portraits of Distinction

Alex has worked as a professional photographer for over 20 years. In 2011, his business expanded with the acquisition of a storefront studio in Grimsby, and BLVD Portraits of Distinction was born. At his studio, Alex creates headshots and artistic wall portraits that celebrate and honour people’s passions, achievements, and families.

Alex brings a unique perspective to the Board, having been self-employed most of his life, originally as a personal trainer and later as a professional photographer. At the core of both careers has been Alex’s passion for authentically connecting with people. He also enjoys helping others to connect in a spirit of acceptance and inclusivity, something he has brought to community groups and organizations with which he has volunteered over the years.

Alex has called Grimsby home since 2009, where he lives ad plays with his two children and his wife.

Mina Johl

Vozul Foods

Mina is a seasoned business professional with extensive experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, spanning 15 years and 3 continents. Mina has led and managed several high-value initiatives through B2B and B2G sales, designed customer-centric engagement strategies, and developed solutions for human capital management, within a technology leader and a Fortune 500 company.

Mina places immense value in trust, transparency and has been instrumental in designing successful partnerships across the disciplines and cultures she has touched along the way. An ex-professional golfer, She retains her love for the game and is a coach to many who seek to learn.

Mina lives in Grimsby with her mother, with who she co-founded Vozul, offering a sneak peek into the culinary beauty of Kashmir, India.

Len Larose

The Olive Board

As an innovative and accomplished business owner, Len has proven to be successful as the President and CEO of PBI (Printing By Innovation). With over 25 years of experience in the printing industry, Len has found a niche with PBI, positioning the company as a one-stop shop, with a true understanding of the Direct Mail and Packaging Market.

Through the love of food, wine, and entertaining friends, Len and his wife Leanna opened The Olive Board in Grimsby in July of 2019. With their newfound passion for the Food Service Industry, they quickly started planning for their second location in Ancaster, and now a third location in Waterloo. Len has called Grimsby home for over 20 years and enjoys spending time with his wife Leanna and their four children. During downtime, he enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, skiing in the winter, or spending time on the water during the summer months.


Rebecca Shelley

Executive Director

Rebecca provides the Chamber with excellent management of membership programs and events.

She brings 20 years of professional experience to her role with the Grimsby & District Chamber of Commerce, most recently from Bell Media. Rebecca has many years of office management, administrative, organizational and coordination experience. Her background embraces small- and medium-sized businesses, including a wine agency, a media company, and an IT security firm run by former Dragon Robert Herjavec.

Emma Fedorchuk

Communications & Events Assistant 

Emma assists the Executive Director with various communications-related tasks (website, social media, etc.) and events.

She is a recent graduate from Brock University’s Media and Communication Studies program and has had previous experience in communications interning at Brock University’s Centre for Sport Capacity and with the Niagara River Lions.
