What Every Business Owner Needs to Know About Crisis Preparedness
In light of the recent devastating incident at Harmony Jewellers, our business community has been reminded of the importance of preparedness and solidarity. Times like these have us all reflecting on how to protect our businesses, employees, and customers in uncertain situations.
The Grimsby Chamber of Commerce, in proud partnership with the Downtown Grimsby BIA, invites you to a free Business Preparedness Info Session ,designed to equip local businesses with the tools and strategies needed to stay resilient in the face of potential threats.

Pie In The Sky Farm & Bakery, Grimsby (coffee and refreshments will be available for purchase)
This targeted (yet informal) info session will feature:
• A representative from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS), sharing insights on what businesses should be aware of before, during, and after a violent incident. They will provide some high-level information on business preparedness suggestions and best practices, and will be available for Q&A.
• A few words from owner Kevin of Harmony Jewellers, sharing his personal experience and lessons learned from the recent incident.
This is an important opportunity for our business community to come together, support one another, and gain practical knowledge to ensure we strengthen our business safety measures and readiness for any situation.
Please note! After the event, HR assets will be made available to anyone looking for training, policies, and/or procedures to help your business prepare for and deal with unfortunate incidents.
