We were excited to celebrate Pepper & Thyme with an official ribbon cutting at their new home inside the Major Refrigeration Peach King Centre on October 2!
In just a few short months, Pepper & Thyme has gone from a new local business to a permanent fixture at MRPKC, bringing a fresh and flavourful take on concession stand food to Grimsby.
Their menu brings plenty of Jamaican flavour to the rink, with jerk chicken and rice and peas, Jamaican patties, chicken wings and classic favourites like hot dogs and fries. It’s a fun way to enjoy something a little different (and delicious!) the next time you’re at the arena.
The ribbon cutting was a great opportunity to celebrate this milestone with Pepper & Thyme’s family and friends, Chamber members and community supporters. It was a wonderful turnout! We were also pleased to have Councillor Veronica Charrois, Krista Bowie from the Town of Grimsby, and representatives from the offices of Sam Oosterhoff and Dean Allison join us and present certificates of congratulations.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate, and to the Pepper & Thyme team for welcoming us so warmly. Sharing your food with everyone who joined the celebration was a huge treat!
Congratulations again to Pepper & Thyme on this exciting milestone. We’re so happy to see you growing, putting down roots and bringing something new to Grimsby’s food scene. We’re looking forward to seeing what’s next!
