We were pleased to join Evelyn and her team at Kumon of Grimsby on October 1 for a special ribbon cutting ceremony and officially celebrate this new addition to our downtown business community.

Located right in the heart of Grimsby, Kumon of Grimsby offers a bright, welcoming space designed to support children as they build their math and reading skills. We’re excited to see this become a valuable resource for local families and a place where students can learn, grow and build confidence.

It was especially meaningful to see Evelyn’s family, Kumon instructors and assistants, Chamber members and community representatives come out to celebrate with her. Evelyn’s children even had the special job of holding the ribbon ends for the ceremony!

We were pleased to welcome Councillor Veronica Charrois, Chamber Board Chair Daniel Vandersteen, and representatives from Sam Oosterhoff’s and Dean Allison’s offices, who each brought certificates of congratulations for Evelyn.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took time out of their evening to stop by, show their support and help us celebrate this exciting new chapter for Kumon.

And to Evelyn – congratulations once again! Your warmth, enthusiasm and genuine care for the families you’ll be serving are already so evident, and we’re thrilled to have Kumon of Grimsby as part of our Chamber and business communities.

We wish you and your entire team so much success in the years ahead. We can’t wait to see all that’s in store for Kumon of Grimsby!
