A wonderful afternoon at one of Grimsby’s heritage landmarks. Congratulations on ten years, Nelles Manor Museum!
On Thursday, May 15, we gathered at Nelles Manor Museum to celebrate a milestone ten years of preserving and sharing the history of our community, and it was a lovely ceremony.
Volunteers and museum team members dressed in period attire to set the scene nicely, bringing a real sense of history and intention to the occasion. It was a detail that made the celebration feel genuine.
We were honoured to have Mayor Jeff Jordan in attendance to say a few words, as well as representatives from the offices of Sam Oosterhoff and Dean Allison. Mayoral candidate, Michelle Seaborn, was also in attendance. Thank you!
A special thank you to Pizza Di Nonna for their incredible generosity. What started as two pizzas became three, and every single slice was enjoyed!
Most of all, thank you to the Nelles Manor Museum team for everything you do to keep this chapter of Grimsby’s history alive and accessible to our community. Ten years is worth celebrating, and we are proud to have been part of it! Congratulations!
