What a beautiful morning in Grimsby on the Lake!
On Saturday, May 9th, the Grimsby Chamber of Commerce was honoured to join photographer Karen Byker for the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening of Reflections Photography Studio, and it was every bit as special as we knew it would be.
The studio itself is beautiful. Warm, intentional, and thoughtfully designed from the ground up. A true labour of love. Kudos goes out to Karen’s husband for the incredible work he put into bringing this space to life!
The morning was a real family affair in every sense of the word, with Karen’s children right there at the ribbon cutting holding the doors open, family and close friends filling the rooms, and a community that showed up to celebrate someone who has been serving Niagara families for over two decades.
We were also honoured to be joined by some wonderful community representatives – Chamber Board Chair Daniel Vandersteen, BIA Chair Simon Duong, Michelle Seaborn of the Grimsby Farmers Market, and Councillor Freake – whose presence made the occasion feel even more meaningful.
The refreshments were lovely, the popcorn was a fun touch, and the energy in the space was warm and full of joy.
Congratulations, Karen! Thank you for following your dream and for choosing to plant roots here in Grimsby on the Lake. We are so proud to have Reflections Photography Studio as part of our business community and we cannot wait to watch what comes next.
